An Overview

4 Hands Brewing Company has been a staple in the St. Louis beer scene since its founding in 2011. Located in the LaSalle Park neighborhood, the brewery boasts a 20,000 square foot facility that houses a wide range of year-round and seasonal offerings, including their wildly popular CITYWIDE Pale Ale.

CITYWIDE has quickly become a fan favorite, selling out at bars and flying off the shelves at stores. In fact, it has become the best-selling Pale Ale in the entire state of Missouri. This is quite an achievement considering St. Louis has long been known as a Budweiser town. 4 Hands Brewing Company has successfully challenged the traditional beer dominance and created a new rallying cry for beer lovers in the city.

As a seasoned creative director, I had the opportunity to work with the 4 Hands team on the marketing and branding for CITYWIDE. It was an exciting project that allowed me to tap into my passion for storytelling and craft a narrative that resonated with beer enthusiasts in St. Louis. The success of CITYWIDE has been a testament to the hard work and dedication of the 4 Hands team, and I am proud to have been a part of it.

Why this is special

4 Hands Brewing Company's Citywide beer has become a household name in the city of St. Louis, and for good reason. Not only is it a delicious and refreshing pale ale that has quickly become the best-selling in the state of Missouri, but it also has a heart. With a commitment to giving back to the community, 4 Hands donates a dollar for every case of Citywide sold, totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars for various organizations across the city. This special beer not only brings people together over a shared love of great craft beer, but it also makes a positive impact on the city it calls home. It's no wonder that Citywide has become a beloved staple in St. Louis and beyond.

My Role

Together with the CityWide team, I helped lead out on the style, direction, look and feel of the entire campaign. From selecting the models, to executing the photoshoot, I had a close hand on how this came to life. Showcasing real individuals who live in our city in spaces that this city already holds close to their heart. Alongside of the stills campaign, we developed a full scale website that highlighted each organization they continue to support and give proceeds to. I'm proud of what we created.
