Personal Excitement
As a seasoned creative director in the web3 space, I'm always excited to take on new projects that push the boundaries of what's possible. When I was approached by the talented team at PixelUnit to work on Ghostball, I was thrilled to be a part of such a innovative and exciting project. Ghostball is a one-of-a-kind fantasy sports app that allows players to challenge each other head to head for prizes and money, all tokenized on the blockchain. The project is the brainchild of Richard Ryan, the founder of Black Rifle Coffee, and I was honored to have the opportunity to help bring it to life. Working with PixelUnit, we developed a comprehensive style guide and branding package to give Ghostball a strong visual identity. I'm excited to see where this project goes and to continue pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the web3 space.
THE DIFFERENCE:
Ghostball is the NFT project specifically designed for the Fantasy NFT platform. This project involves creating unique NFTs that represent different elements of the sports betting experience. These could be tokens for specific teams, players, or even special events within the sports world. The value of these NFTs is determined by their rarity and demand within the Fantasy NFT platform.
On the other hand, Fantasy NFT is the larger, comprehensive platform that utilizes the blockchain for sports betting. This platform allows users to place bets on their favorite teams, players, and sports events, and win prizes and money through their betting activities. The use of the blockchain ensures that all bets and payouts are secure, transparent, and verifiable. In addition to the sports betting aspect, Fantasy NFT also incorporates the use of NFTs as a means of enhancing the overall user experience. This could include using NFTs as collectibles, rewards, or even as a means of accessing exclusive content within the platform. Overall, the main difference between Ghostball and Fantasy NFT is that Ghostball is a specific project within the Fantasy NFT platform, while Fantasy NFT is the larger platform that incorporates various elements, including sports betting and NFTs.
